History

Hi, my name is Sarah Fray and I live on the Isles of Sheppey with my poodle family! All of my dogs run free in the house and garden and live as fun, family members. From the age of 5 I was raised with a black miniature poodle called Sally, a Tiopepi puppy from Claire Coxal. Sally was a fantastic companion and a much loved friend but she made an unfortunate early exit from the world at just 3 years old with toxaemia of the blood whilst carrying her first litter. We were all devastated but couldn't live without a poodle and six weeks later we found ourselves with Rosie, another black min puppy from Claire. She too was a beautiful and devoted little dog who will always remain in our hearts. Due to the awful experience with Sally my parents decided not to breed with Rosie, and just have her as a pet. When Rosie passed on at nearly 10 years old my parents decided they would follow their passion of having a standard poodle, they must have been mad!
Mum and dad then set out to find a puppy, didn't really mind what colour, just someone to love. They arranged to visit the first family on the list and what luck they had, they came across Linda and Richard Barker, Crystalar poodles. Mum and Dad were overwhelmed by the friendly welcome by all of their dogs and there was no going back! There was only 1 puppy left from a beautiful litter of 11 puppies and Becky came home. But by then it was too late.... they'd spent too much time with big white fluffy poodles in show coat, Becky was on coat growing duty and we were learning to show poodles! Later that year I moved out of home and I couldn't cope living in a house without a poodle so then came Tasha, a white standard sired from the Montravia line. She was a very special girl, with an amazing temperament, but unfortunately she became ill at very early age and retired from showing to become a wonderful pet, giving me 6 of the best years ever.
It wasn't long before I had a craving for a miniature poodle, but by then I was hooked on white and wanted nothing else, along came Jorja. Also, the same year Linda and Richard had a litter from Becky's sister, lollypop and mum and Dad had 1 of only 2 white bitches in the litter and found themselves with Crystal, another white standard puppy!
I then decided to visit Scandinavia in search of new bloodlines for my breeding of white miniatures and found myself importing a white male, Eric from Jouet Poodles Denmark. He is a very charming, loveable boy and has settled in with the girls with ease. He has been a fabulous show dog, giving me many 'first' experiences, becoming my first dog to win a CC, my first champion, my first speciality best in show winner and much much more!
In 2008 I was visiting friends in Europe and before I knew it I had acquired 2 more new imports, Lara, my little black girl from Germany and Joslyn, Eric's younger full sister.
